Once you have your system hooked up you can really enjoy the benefits. You'll be able to vacuum by only carrying around a small, lightweight hose. It goes in the outlets that will be installed in the walls, and the dirt and debris gets vacuumed through the hoses in the walls and into a collection bin. That bin is usually located in the basement or the garage, and it doesn't have to be emptied that often. It's a great option for a lot of homeowners.
