Makita Power Tools

Makita began building its reputation for quality over 85 years ago, when the company started manufacturing electric motors. Since the first electric power tool was produced by Makita in 1958, users have come to rely on the craftsmanship of these tools as well as the brand's excellent customer service. Makita owes its reputation for building outstanding quality power.

Today Makita is one of the world's largest power tool manufacturers with seven manufacturing facilities globally and a selection of over 350 superior, innovative tools. The tools are still engineered to Makita's exacting standards, in Makita's own factories.

Makita tools come only in a distinctive teal color, making them easily recognized although this is easily imitated by manufactures who wish to benefit from their reputation as a manufacturer of quality tools.

With tools such as the MXT Cordless Drill, you get an all-metal transmission, one-touch drill-to-driver mode, and precision balance in a lightweight yet heavy-duty body. MXT is the next generation in drilling power and control; high speeds of up to 1,700rpm can be achieved within seconds. In addition to their popular drills, they manufacture a host of power tools that can all be run by the same rechargeable battery.

Makita power tools have the longest lasting and most efficient motors of any power tool on the market. With their dual ball bearings, Makita power tools create less friction, which reduces wear on the motor. Makita tools also contain a high-performance fan, which reduces the working temperature of the tool, increasing its life span. All Makita tools represent good honest value-for-money especially when you consider the amount of Equipment you get that comes as standard (often it's as good as a free angle grinder or impact driver) with most tools at no extra charge.

All Makita tools are built to the highest standards of quality and innovation, but when that tool breaks down everything is not lost. Being able to change your Makita brushes, you can keep the motor operating at optimum efficiency.

Makita's top end heavy duty cordless series are mostly based around the new Li-ion type of batteries. Lithium-Ion Battery technology brings power to cordless machines like never seen before. Lithium-ion cordless tools provide more power with less weight.

Whether you need a circular saw or an impact driver, a wrench or a flashlight, Makita offers a full line of cordless products.
