Picnic table sets can be a fun way for family and friends to enjoy a meal, games or fun outside in the fresh air. Depending on your lifestyle and reasons for owning a picnic table set, there are different options of picnic table sets to meet your various needs.
Picnic table sets come with either detached or attached benches. If you prefer a table with the ability to adjust your distance from the table or increase the amount of people able to sit at the table, you may want to purchase a set with separate benches. Extra seating for the ends of a rectangular picnic table may need to be purchased separately.
If your picnic table set is going to be used commercially or be exposed to heavy use, aluminum or metal picnic table sets would be the right choice. These sets are usually on the more expensive side, but they are very efficient for long-term outdoor use. Concrete picnic table sets are another useful investment for commercial or long-term outdoor use, as they are usually reinforced with steel and usually require little maintenance other than cleaning. These tables can take a lot of stress, weight and abuse and they are also theft proof because they are extremely heavy. When purchasing a picnic table set for commercial use, an umbrella hole in the center will be useful for blocking sunlight and rain.
Wooden picnic table sets are the perfect fit for any family to place in the backyard or on a patio. Red or white cedar wood will not rot or decay due to the rain or sunlight and is a good choice for a long-lasting family picnic table set.
For a fancier look, a glass-top picnic table set may be the right choice. Glass top sets are usually set on a wrought iron or wicker base. These sets can also be used either indoor or outdoor but they also require more care such as polishing and cleaning.
Picnic table sets made especially for children can also be purchased. These can be made of wood, aluminum or plastic in the rectangular, octagonal, or round design. Some sets can be purchased with pictures or designs imprinted on the table top to help them learn while they play and many come with umbrellas to protect children from the sun.
Picnic table sets can also come in a wheel chair accessible design. These tables can also be any shape from round to rectangular. Many rectangular picnic table sets have an extended table to fit a wheelchair and the round tables leave out one bench setting to accommodate the handicapped individual. These tables also come in any material from metal to concrete to wood.
For families or individuals who prefer change, many picnic table sets can come in a foldable design which can be transported easily and set up efficiently. These tables are great for camping, picnics and extra seating for holiday meals. These sets come in metal and/or plastic designs and can come with attached or detached benches.
Whatever the use, a picnic table set can fit your family or establishment's lifestyle with ease and efficiency.
