There are quite a few things to consider when planning the building of a pool house cabana. With careful planning and an eye for detail and, one can have everything one has dreamt of and more. It is suggested that one makes a list of all the functions that one would like to be included in the Pool House, as part of the planning process.

The pool house cabana should be within a striking distance from the pool. There are certain points to consider like: how to maximize sunlight; the exact location of the cabana, electricity, water and other facilities inside the cabana, including a bar sink, toilet, or outdoor shower, etc. It is important to evaluate the pros and cons of the preferred location for the cabana for all four seasons. The surrounding environment and weather are quite different in different seasons. So these conditions have great impact on where to build the pool house. The size and conveniences of the pool house ensures that the fit is comfortable to all the needs and that the location is harmonious with the landscape.

The interior design of the pool house and cabana should be well planned and should fulfill all the requirements. If required partitions, wall systems and glass rooms can be installed to divide space for the various different uses. Benches, shelving, and hooks serves quite a few purposes in case of bi fold bar/serving windows. Whatever may be the requirements it should have a good fit to your tastes and needs.

The average size for a pool cabana is around 8' x 12' and 10' x 14' (or the 10' or 11' five sided design) but, there are no rules. It is important to ensure that the space is large enough for its designated intentions, but at the same time remaining proportional to the setting. One has to keep in mind the activities that one intends to take place in the pool cabana, and then it becomes easier to plan out the space. Generally changing area, storage area for pool equipments and other accessories, kitchenette, bar area, shower area, etc is included.

Mostly the products are constructed from a premium grade of western red cedar or maintenance free wood fiber siding, available in many different colors. Different materials give a different look and can also be suited to extend or complement a particular style of your house or garden.

Pool house cabanas can be created that blend exterior and interior environs for an elegant experience. If created keeping in the energy conservation, insulation and green house effect issues in mind, your Pool house cabana can be your favorite place for unwinding and connecting to nature!
