The choices of your primary components will vary based on the usage your system will get.

2. Choose A System That Can Be Expanded.  This will allow you to buy one component at a time as your budget allows.  What you may find is that you want better sound first, or you would prefer a better quality picture than you can adapt accordingly.     3.
