The View Within: a (g)lassy Affair!

Glass adds value and class to anything inside it. Be it a house or a product. Its natural appeal and reliability is what is making people explore possibilities of using it for more than conventional purposes. For ages, glass was used for packaging liquid (liquor or other spirits) only but now it has graduated from its stereotypical position to that of an elegant option for adorning entrances and believe it or not, walls!

Dominated by brick and mortar for centuries, walls have now got a facelift with glass. Glass systems are getting fast approval the world over as corporate houses and lovers of style are surrendering to its functional versatility, visual attractiveness and efficiency. Its tactility and ability to protect and preserve its allure connects readily with customers.

Glass systems include sliding glass doors, glass walls, apart from the existing glass windows. Glass doors at the entrance are finding takers as they fit the bill of being functional and aesthetic along with its ability to integrate seamlessly with the architectural flow of the building. Entrance systems are available in many options like Sliding glass doors, Revolving doors and Automatic doors. As entrances should be able to withstand maximum traffic, ensure flexibility and be secure, glass doors should be made of laminated glass and fitted with reliable security and hardware fittings.

Sliding glass doors also present themselves as soundproof doors blocking up to 75% noise. Maintaining insulation and a comfortable temperature are other benefits of a sliding glass door apart from being secure. It is made secure by use of laminated glass by major glass system developers. Standard glass or tempered glass can also be used but these do not solve the purpose as these can be easily broken and do not provide good insulation, unlike laminated glass. Sliding glass door systems can be fitted to an existing door also, putting to rest apprehensions in going for complete revamping.

Glass doors at the patio or glass walls are relatively a new concept as people appreciate flexibility of enclosing within confines or bringing down barriers with the external world as they fancy. Most modern glass wall systems offer an option to partially open or fully slide walls to the side to let the outdoor merge with your indoors. It lets you increase space when you need it. The modern outdoor glass room enclosures are vital at times when your world is shrinking (including your abode) and there is a dearth of space. These are also assured tactics to attract business when used in commercial ventures. Glass walls allow you to enjoy your weathers your way.

Glass walls can be folded as well terming them as folding glass walls. It offers the same benefits like above but instead of sliding them to side, these are folded lengthwise. Available folding glass wall choices include swing door, French door, inswing or outswing and center pivot panels.
Whether folding or sliding, glass walls are a pleasant alternative to a brick-mortar wall.

Complete glass rooms can also be created that blend exterior and interior environs for an elegant experience. If created keeping in the energy conservation, insulation and green house effect issues in mind, your glass room can be your favorite place for unwinding and connecting to nature!
