Washing Machine Types

Semi Automatic:

A machine that is Semi Automatic is a washing machine that does the functions of rinsing, spin-drying, and washing and has twin tubs. One tub performs the rinsing and washing and the other tub does the spin-drying. After all of these functions are done in the tub, the laundry have to be transferred, for drying, to spin tub manually. This model of machine is great for the ones who don't have a steady water supply. All of the leading brands offer these machines with features like this.

Fully Automatic:

With a Fully Automatic machines, all of the washing, drying, and rinsing tasks are done in one tub. These machines are offering the simplicity of choosing a program to do any or every operations or specific combinations.

These Fully Automatic machines are classified in three divisions which is based on the control level of the machine.

Neuro Fuzzy Control

It provides the highest control level that anyone could wish for. It features sensors that automatically detects the fabric type and determine the detergent and water needed and the wash time accordingly.

Fuzzy Control:

This category has load sensors, which indicates the water and detergent amount that is required and determines the wash cycle that is based on the load of wash. Also, it allows the individual to save more detergent, water, and electricity, at the same time the washing machine estimates the best time of wash automatically.

Manual or Conventional:

The individual who uses this is in charge here. You should decide what you need from the machine. Wash cycle, detergent, and water amount have to be manually set and selected by the individual who are using it.

Based on loading options:

Top Loading: From the top, clothes are loaded.

Front Loading: From the front, clothes are loaded.

Energy use comparisons prove that Front Loading uses less water, detergent, and energy usually, and more effective in cleaning and washing. The latest top loaders has a poor performance since the regulations of the government have lessen the energy amount that they use, which results in ineffective cleaning and shortened cycles. However, Front Loaders consume a smaller amount of energy but even though they tend to have times for longer cycles. Front loaders lower the water and detergent amounts and consume less energy.
