Where Should You Put Your Indoor Fountain?

Good question! It’s easy to let enthusiasm for such an attractive, novel piece of new décor get ahead of practical considerations. Before you get paralyzed by indecision, think about the following factors. These should help you better integrate an indoor fountain into your home’s interior design.

Size Matters – and So Does Shape

It isn’t enough to think about an indoor fountain in terms of just its height and weight. They key to making the right choice is the water fountain’s area and floor footprint. If you have a very large space to decorate or a more modest indoor fountain you can choose its placement based on your existing setup. You’ll only move a few things around, but many of the same rules apply as for a fountain-centered plan. Keep the fountain a comfortable distance and don’t make it compete with the TV. In addition, think of it as a way to complement the sites of existing houseplants or transitional areas in the pace, such as hallway entrances.
