Diversion Safes look like the real McCoy and can discourage a burglar who doesn’t have time to search the whole house

Burglars like to get in and out of your house as quickly as they can with their loot.  Most burglars spend an average of 8 minutes in the house so they don’t have time to look around – they just want to grab and go.

Diversion Safes are just everyday items that you would see in any house.  They are hollowed out, weighted (when necessary) to feel full and have a seamless screw-on top or bottom to conceal the hidden compartment.

Diversion Safes are great places to hide things like your cell phone (have you been losing unexplained minutes lately?), credit card, car keys, house keys, jewelry, etc.

The most important thing to remember when positioning your Diversion Safe is to make sure it blends in with its surroundings so it won’t draw attention.

For example, don’t leave a Kibbles ‘n Bits Dog Food Can Safe on the living room table.  Put it in the pantry surrounded by other cans similar to it so that no one would suspect that this Can Safe actually held money or jewelry.

So, to get the best from a Diversion Safe make sure it fits in with its environment.  Some examples are:

-         A Book Safe in the book shelf in the living room or den
-         Emergency house money in the garage in a Liquid Wrench Can Safe
-         A CD  Diversion Safe for valuables placed in your stack of CDs
-         A Peanut Butter Safe in the pantry surrounded with other items such as jelly and jam.
-         Put your spare house and car key in the garage but hide them in an Engine Cleaner
Can and put the can in with other types of garage cans.

You should also consider the size of the hidden storage area within your Diversion Safe.  They range from just enough to fit a spare house or car key (a Rock Safe) up to a very large area of 7 x 4 inches (a Gallon Paint Can Safe).

There are over 45 different Diversion Safes available -- most are under $20.  Because they are inexpensive and unique, they make great gifts.

One might think that an Ajax Cleanser Can Safe is an unusual and impractical gift to give someone but, once you ‘educate the recipient’ to its use, they’ll thank you again and again because it’s just what they were looking for but didn’t know there was such a product!

No home or office should be without a Diversion Safe.  Now you won’t lose your keys or cell phone anymore – put them in your Candle Diversion Safe so you’ll always know where they are.
