How many times have you been watching some movie or show on TV and the burglar in the show or movie deftly disarms a security system by simply cutting a wire and you thought to yourself “gee that looks far too easy”? The fact is that it wasn't relay that long ago that many home and business security systems were just that easy to bypass and in fact some were even easier then that.
The truth is that many security systems could be bypassed by simply shutting off the power to the home or business by simply turning off the power supply at the breaker box, or by cutting the phone line to the home or business. This is why even if you already have a security system in your home or business and it is an older system, it may be obsolete when compared to the new systems that are now available.
Now, new modern high tech security systems have more than one layer of protection that they provide to the actual residence or building and they also have systems that guarantee the integrity of the system its self. In other words the security system also contains a separate security system to protect it from being bypassed.
To start with, there is new wireless technology that is now available that has no wires that can be cut like you saw on the TV show and because the signal in an emergency is also sent to the monitoring station wireless, there is no phone line to cut either. Not too long ago basically the only layer of security on a building was trip mechanisms that were on the doors or windows and that was it and you may in fact think that this is all that was needed.
Unfortunately the criminal mind thinks differently and windows and doors are merely one option to take when entering a building. Many burglaries have been committed by accessing the attic through an attic vent or even by cutting a hole in the roof. With new technology that has come on line, high tech ultra-sensitive hidden body heat and motion detectors are another layer of security that can protect your building or home from someone who has bypassed windows and door alarm mechanisms.
For commercial applications these devices are invaluable for protecting a business from someone who has hidden in the building during business hours. These super high tech devices also have another application that provides a layer of security that was never available until now. Body heat and motion detectors are commonly used to surround a building with an invisible security barrier that will sound the alarm before someone even has a chance to touch a building.
They have a range of thirty-five feet and work flawlessly in any type of weather, day or night. There is never any false alarms with these high tech components, because they are so finely calibrated that they easily differentiate between a man and animals such a dogs and cats.
