You can not just trust anyone to take care of your child. Choose the right nanny cam for this job.
The advantages that come with using nanny cams to monitor your nanny’s performance as well as ascertaining your child’s safety have long been established. But did you know that nanny cams can come handy in catching other kinds of potential wrongdoers as well?
Nanny Cam Catches Voyeur
John Thomas Boyd Jr., 55, was arrested by detectives last Tuesday, March 3, 2009 by detectives. He was charged for video voyeurism after his wife found video clips and reported him to the authorities.
Consequently, the Jacksonville Beach Police Department had been able to locate a nanny cam in one of the public bathrooms of Jacksonville Beach. Authorities suspect Boyd, Jr. of installing the device in order to capture footages of a juvenile female while she was unclothed. The suspect is currently detained on $50,000 bail.
Where, When, How, and Why You Should Use Nanny Cams
Nanny cams don’t have to be exclusively used for catching bad nannies in the act of maltreating their charges or committing any other misdeed. These devices may also be used in other circumstances to ensure the safety of your home or workplace.
Vandals, Trespassers, and Unauthorized Users
If there are restricted areas in your home or office, installing nanny cams can deter people from attempting to break in or trespass. And if anyone’s foolish enough to persist, your nanny cam will be well-prepared to produce photographic evidence that will not only establish their identity but give you the ammunition you need if matters were to reach the court.
Theft or Pilferage
Have money, jewelries, and other valuable possessions been missing for no apparent reason? If you’d like to catch the culprit in the act, consider using a nanny cam. You could even stage the scene by deliberately leaving a valuable item behind as bait.
Betrayal
Personal or not, betrayal of your trust is hard to prove. In some situations, the only time you’ll allow yourself to believe that someone you trusted has betrayed you is when you see and hear the evidence for yourself. You can have your proof with a nanny cam.
Proper and Legitimate Use of Nanny Cams
You will have to consult with your legal counsel regarding the proper use of nanny cams. Generally speaking, however, you have limited or absolutely no right at all to install nanny cams, especially covertly, in any place that you do not own.
