With thick smoke filling the air a loved one may be sleeping, or be knocked unconscious, and never be given a chance to notify authorities. Even better, they will have all the details of your emergency contacts so that upon notifying authorities of the dire situation, loved ones will also be warned or alerted of the danger, and updated on the situation. A smoke alarm or carbon monoxide detector is a great way to warn that there is smoke, but does little to help a person who is trapped and unable to call for help.
At the end of the day it’s always best to know that your family is in good hands. There will always be moments in life where things go wrong, so it’s best to be prepared.
