Protect Your Home from Burglary

Burglary threats people's home security, property and lives. Most security products are invented to prevent burglars from entering your home, such as door alarm, security camera, motion detector, etc. There are still many ways you should pay more attention to.

1. The door you installed should be very strong to broken up. The locks should be with top quality. It is better to have no window and glass in the door. Or a burglar might break up the glass and open the door. The glass of the window should be hard to broken. Remember to lock all doors and windows when you are absent, that is very important. For more secure, you can install door or window alarms, which will sounds at once as settings when the door or window are opened.

2. Make sure that you have curtains for your windows to protect your privacy. Your windows provide an easy access for the burglar to collect your personal and financial information before the burglary is attempted. If you have valuable items near your windows, a burglar may be able to see them through the glass and decide to break into your house. Also, if you leave your credit cards and some type of financial paperwork with private information, someone can simple walk by your window and gain access to all of this information. Make sure that you never to leave any valuable or any of your personal or financial information near the windows and you had better use curtains to protect your privacy.

3. Do not let a stranger enter your house unless you have vertified his identification. The one who describe himself a repairman may be a burglar who wants to steal your property.

4. It is better to install a motion sensor light outside. By this way if someone knocks at your door, you will clearly see who that person is, even if it is dark outside. You will also be warned in advance is someone is coming close to your house and to your front door. And a dirve alarm is also be helpful which will notice you when someone is pulling into your driveway.

5. You can sign up for the alarm monitoring service. The police department will be notified if your alarm is triggered by someone trying to break into your house. This is especially useful if you are not at home most of the time.

6. Make sure that you can see what is going on outside. You need to check if any tree branches are preventing you from looking outside. If necessary, you should cut off these branches to increase the viewable area. This is important because you need to be able to look outside and see if there is any danged to your house, to your property or to your famil.
