With all the violence towards women on campus happening these days, a woman should never leave her dorm or house without some sort of self protection device.
One of the most effective devices is a Stun Gun. These are small and can easily fit into a purse or pocket or even in your hand when you are walking in an uncomfortable place such as a dark parking lot looking for your car.

Another self protection device that will stop anyone trying to do you harm is the Stun Baton. This device works the same as a Stun Gun but will give you a longer distance from your attacker. Stun Batons come as small as 11 inches or can look like a policeman’s solid night stick (18-20 inches). So, when you extend your arm out, the Stun Baton keeps you 3-4 feet from the bad guy.
A good feature of a Stun Baton -- you don’t have to use just the tip of this self protection device to touch your attacker because the sides of the Stun Baton are also electrified. This means if some creep tries to take the device from you by grabbing it, then all he’ll grab is a lot of voltage. Surprise!
