Here is one of the best tips you will ever get on the horse races. When handicapping horse races one of your first concerns is who is riding each runner. The jockey is the most important equipment on a horse, despite what you may have heard to the contrary. The difference between a jockey who wins 20% of his or her races and a jockey who wins 10% is not 10%, it is 100%. A jockey who wins 20% of his or her rides actually wins twice as often as the 10% jockey.
