The Hotel Ambos Mundos with its remarkable view over the red tiled roofs, towards the Plaza de Armas in Old Havana and the sound of the conversation between time and the famous personalities, is a magical place and represents a festivity amongst the hotels in the country.

The Del Monte saloon was created in honour to the prominent Cuban cultural promoter Domingo Del Monte. It has an area of 30 sq m. and a variable capacity from 150 to 250 people standing.
This place can be divided, according to necessities, into two acoustically independent rooms. Its all-round characteristic is easy to see with the use of its own furnishings for banquettes or plenary sessions.
The rest of the equipment is composed by different kinds of audio-visual means, including video, datashow projectors and acrylic whiteboards.
Besides, it works constantly as an art gallery since the beginning of the works by Jorge Caunedo, the contractor and the architect who modernized the hotel.
Also paintings of Yanes, Casiguaya and other painters that illustrate the connection between culture and tourism are shown here, something very useful in order to enjoy the real cultural Cuban spirit during your holidays.
In addition to this indispensable place we can find the Letrán saloon with 20 sq m and capacity for 12 people at a rectangular table, especial for close business meetings, dinners and private moments considering that it can be equipped with the audio-visual means mentioned above.
This two saloons are completed with a menu buffet, coffee-break, gala dinners, according to the requests and appropriate prices.
On the sixth floor of the hotel there is a privileged place for resting and eating, the Roof Garden, with 50 seats and a panoramic view over the old part of Havana and the bay.
And there the Plaza de Armas' restaurant (capacity for 24 people), with it’s specialities, and down there is located the Café-bar of the hotel Ambos Mundos. As a supreme attractiveness we can find the room 511 where the American novelist Ernest Hemingway used to live in the 30's. Today this room is a museum.
The construction of the hotel began in 1923. In 1932 Hemingway was lodged in the hotel and lived there ultil 1939 when he bought Finca Vigía. Nowadays in this place is located the Hemingway's museum.
The four stars hotel has 52 rooms (six floors) from them 3 are mini-suites.
This hotel from the Cuban capital city is managed by Habaguanex Company S.A., responsible for the historic-cultural tourism in the Old Town, a perfect place.
