I'll be so bored its hours and hours in the city. At first, I was thinking what did I get myself into. After that I heard about The King Sanctuary Jungle Resort, I planned to visit the Kings Sanctuary Jungle Resort. The Kings Sanctuary Jungle Resort is a fabulous place; it offers luxury in the wilds. The Kings Sanctuary Jungle Resort is an Eco Friendly 5 Star Jungle Resort spread over 34 acres of landscaped gardens and mango orchards at the very edge of the Rajiv Gandhi National Park, Nagarhole.
Every morning you get a wakeup call from the birds and animals around to welcome you into the Jungle. The safari is a real treat to the jungle-buffs who enjoy being in the midst of animals and revel in watching their lives in the jungle. The scenes that you would encounter here will be etched in your memory for posterity. At The Kings Sanctuary Jungle Resort the safaris are the highlight of every visitors stay. Each drive into the National Park takes about 3 hours and covers about 80 km of forest roads.
With experienced Spotters and Naturalist’s one can spot a Malabar Squirrel or Serpent Eagle perched on the tree canopy or wild Asian elephants, Gaur (Indian bison) - the largest wild oxen in the world, spotted deer, barking deer, mouse deer, Sambar, sloth-bears, marsh crocodiles, otters, dhole or Indian wild dogs, leopards, tigers and innumerable species of birds.
The beauty of the sun trying to bathe the forest with its rays is delightful. A herd of deers going down to the river for a drink. Monkeys chattering and birds calling in the nearby trees, signalling that an elusive Royal Tiger is stalking Deer through the high grass. It's an extraordinary experience - a unique experience for any traveller at Nagarhole - unlike any other wildlife sanctuary in Karnataka. Nagarhole is awesome for a Jungle safari as the climate is mostly warm and temperate and the winter is very short.
The look of the restaurant at The Kings Sanctuary Jungle Resort is contemporary. One can choose cozy corners or larger tables for a fine dining. Breaking the monopoly of a multicuisine restaurant, the results : a menu culled from a cultural heritage that straddles the best of Indian and the very own Mysore cuisine. There's Chinese and Continental as well. Altogether an irresistible offering. The Kings Sanctuary Jungle Resort has a well stocked bar also.
Well not to forget that the Reception and Hospitality at The Kings Sanctuary Jungle resort is fabulous. The feel at the Kings Sanctuary Jungle Resort is like at home far away from home. One can say that The Kings Sanctuary Jungle resort is one of the best wildlife Jungle resorts present within and outside the vicinity of the famous wildlife sanctuaries Bangalore, India.
