Cardiff - Wow

Wow is a fitting expression about this South Wales city. That is unless you want to throw in other words such as regenerated, re-invigorated, re-invented, re-established!

Seriously, Cardiff is a city that is well worth a visit! It has so much to offer, a great nightlife, a great sporting venue and a wonderful bay area and a wealth of Hotels in Cardiff exist.

Cardiff is an integrated city, with a train station that is at the head, to a stadium that is slap bang in the middle and a castle at the bottom.

In between are some absolutely fantastic pubs, clubs & restaurants. All these fit nicely between shops and little hidden alleyways. Nothing beats Cardiff on a sporting day, although the big football events have gone back London, there are still plenty of events being held at the Millennium stadium.

That’s the city centre, but a couple miles away, and about 10 minutes in a taxi, you can be in Cardiff bay. Cardiff bay has been coined by their marketing department as Europe’s most exciting waterfront! And there is certainly a lot going on, from waterbus rides to the Cardiff Bay wetlands. Other attractions that can be found in the bay include the Welsh Senedd, the home of the Welsh assembly, to the Tecniquest centre, the UK’s leading Science Discovery Centre.

Cardiff is must for a weekend, and absolute necessary stop over for a sporting event. There are plenty of hotels in Cardiff to accommodate all budget needs, so go sort out your calendar and get along to Cardiff a truly transformed city!
