Even the non-followers of a particular religion can visit them. Some of the best known places of worship in Singapore are- the colossal Kong Meng San Phor Kark See Monastery near Ang Mo Kio, the splendid Masjid Sultan in Arab Street, the psychedelic Burmese Buddhist Temple in Balestier and the multi-colored Sri Mariamman Hindu temple in Chinatown.

Beaches
Singapore has some of the best balmy beaches in the Southeast Asian region. Famous ones are the three beaches on Sentosa or its southern islands and the ones on the East Coast. Here you can indulge yourself in various water sports.

Nature and wildlife
Well-liked tourist attractions like Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, Jurong Bird Park and the Botanical Gardens are visited by hordes visitors and tourist each year. Places where you will find nature at its best are The Bukit Timah Nature Reserve and Pulau Ubin among others.
