The spa and hotels are awesome pairs, perhaps rivaled only by a lake spa resort, in terms of making you feel relaxed.  A lake spa resort, unlike the best spa hotels, exudes a more rural touch in its theme.  It usually features decent amenities and rooms, good food, and excellent service.  The facilities aren’t as fancy as those found in hotels, however, a lake spa hotel makes up for them with its superior location.  Often found by a lake, you can bathe or have a picnic near the serene body of water.  As for the spa, it doesn’t differ much from those found in spa hotels, though some of the treatments are sometimes themed to suit the lake environment.  The rates of a lake spa resort are more affordable than those offered by the best spa hotels.  So, by staying in one, you’re surely getting what you pay for, at times even more.

In some places, a spa hotel is situated near a lake spa resort.  The establishments could have a tie – up, which comes as an advantage for every traveler.  If you have enough cash, you can avail of the features of both.  You could stay at the hotel for your lodging needs, then go to the resort whenever you’re in for some water-related fun.  As for the spas, you could check the treatments offered and adjudge which is better.  You could even try both.  Just schedule sessions during the late afternoon, so you would be primed to enjoy the nightlife offered by the hotel and the resort.  One thing’s for sure, you will have a dandy time enjoying both places.

Spa and hotels often make good vacations.  However, the lake spa resort is giving the best spa hotels a run for the money, given the relaxing atmosphere of a lake setting.  If you’re pretty laid back, the lake spa resort is your better option. Adventurous people who want action in their travels, on the other hand, are better off staying at a spa hotel located near a tourist spot or a commercial area.  It’s all a matter of preference and budget.
