Workers who are stressed are also more likely to be unhealthy, poorly motivated, less productive, and less safe at work. The organizations are less likely to be successive in competitive in modern market. Stress can be brought about by pressures at home and at work. Employers can not usually protect workers from stress arising outside of work, but they can protect them from stress that arises through work. Stress at work can be a real problem to the organization as well as for its workers. Good management and good work organization are the best forms of stress prevention. If employees are already stressed, their managers should be aware of it and know how to help.

What is work stress?

Work-related stress is the response people may have when presented with work demands and pressures that are not matched to their knowledge and abilities and which challenge their ability to cope. There is often confusion between pressure or challenge and stress and some times it is used to excuse bad management practice

• Job content- Monotones, lack of variety, unpleasant tasks etc..
• Work load and work place- time pressures
• Working hours- inflexible and unsocial hours
• Participation and control- lacking in decision making and control
• Career development, status and play
• Role in organization-unclear role, conflicting role
• Interpersonal relationship
• Organizational culture
• Home-work interface
Stress Stages
Our mind has different stages while encountering a event. The two stages of stress are beta stage and alpha stage.
Beta Stage:

The beta stage is the situation where the person is in the waking stage. The alpha stage is the first step to unconscious. Usually the decisions we make in our life is a combination of conscious and sub conscious state. Now lets go in detail about how we these states work together.
Alpha Stage:

The alpha state is the stage where we do our work. This is the stage where we will be relaxed. We will be warm and comfortable. In this stage we will be waiting to take up the work with a fresh mind. For example, waiting in the car for some one on a sunny day, with a mild breeze blowing over you, is a perfect state of alpha stage. The work done in the alpha stage is mainly controlled by the sub conscious state. Thus what ever we do in this state, it will be correct and there is very less probability of making mistakes during this state. The alpha stage occurs only twice per day. It is when we wake up in the morning and when we are about to sleep during the night. Our conscious mind has the reasoning capability. Our conscious mind is like a tape memory. We cannot delete it and copy another data, instead we can create another copy of data on it. During the decision making stages, the sub conscious state is the one which take up the decisions. No mater what the conscious state does, it need to co operate with the sub conscious state in order to take up a decision. Thus this is the reason why we call the sub conscious mind as our energy source. For example, suppose we scold a small child and degrade him for some mischief done by him, the words of degradation will always exists in the child mind. Thus it will be stored in the sub conscious mind which will remain there for ever. Thus the child will be always a failure because conscious mind will not be able to over take the sub conscious mind in him. Thus we need to be careful while speaking to a child. We also need to know the fact that whenever a conscious mind takes up a decision, it has to be asked with sub conscious. If the sub conscious mind has already decide upon a particular decision and if the conscious mind changes the decision, then it is not possible for the sub conscious mind to again change.
Stress and Stress-Related Disorders:
Although information on this topic is still sketchy, reliable evidence has begun to emerge on both the extent of job stress and stress-related disability in many organizations. Indicators of occupational safety and health risks associated with the organization of work and workplace stress come from following sources:
• Data on the prevalence of stress and stress-related disorders in the workplace, and how the employees experiences job stress and how it have changed in recent years.
• Data on the scope of workplace exposures to workplace conditions that are known risk factors for stress and stress-related disorders, and on how these exposures have changed.
• When affected by work stress and work related disorders workers become increasingly distressed and irritable, unable to relax, difficult in logical thinking and decision making feel tired, depressed, experiences physical problems, musculo-skeletal disorders.
According to American Psychological Association, 54%of Americans are concerned about the level of stress in their everyday lives. Stress makes cancer cells stronger and less likely to die. Research indicates that a protein called BAD that kills cancer cells, does not work in the presence of epinephrine – which is produced by the adrenal glands during stressful situations and depression.

Economic Factors:
Stress can be linked to the external factors such as Economic factors, occupational risks, the environmental and emerging issues. Stress can also be linked to the external factors which govern our own irresponsible behaviors negative thoughts that surround us, or unrealistic desires and expectations. Organizational practices of concern in the work organization and stress field are the products of macroeconomic, technological, demographic, and other forces at the national and international level. These developments have had significant impacts on business practices relevant to the organization of work, including the organization of firms, the organization of production, the nature of employment contracts, and other human resource policies such as work-life programs and fringe benefits. In many countries, these trends have occurred against the backdrop of an aging and increasingly diverse workforce.
These causal pathways between work organization and worker safety and health are illustrated in the figure below. This figure portrays a somewhat broader causal model, showing that new organizational practices of concern are the products of various background forces, including the growing global economy, changing worker demographics and the labor supply, and technological innovation.

Occupational Safety and Health Risks
Although information is limited, indicators of occupational safety and health risks associated with the organization of work and workplace stress come from two sources:
• Data on the prevalence of stress and stress-related disorders in the workplace, and on how experiences of job stress have changed in recent years coincident with changing organizational practices, and
• Data on the scope of workplace exposures to workplace conditions that are known risk factors for stress and stress-related disorders, and on how these exposures have changed.
Emerging issues:
The aspects of work organization affect general well-being, physical health, and stress-related outcomes. There is a number of important emerging scientific and health issues related to work organization practices are:
• Work-Life / Flexibility:
Women are entering the workforce at increasing rates, and couples are working longer hours. Due to these circumstances and recent trends in family planning, workers are increasingly finding themselves “sandwiched” between work and domestic responsibilities. The links between work-life conflict and employees’ well-being and functioning (both at work and home) have become a growing concern for both employers and workers. It is necessary to examine the risks posed by work-life conflict and especially the design and benefits of work-life programs to restore work-life balance.
• Disaster Mental Health/Traumatic Stress.
9/11 and recent hurricanes have served to elevate disaster mental health as an area of concern in occupational safety and health, with special attention to stress experienced by emergency responders. Effort is needed along several lines to reduce stress risks among disaster workers, including (1) development of psychosocial instruments to reliably assess psychological stress in post-disaster situations, (2) how disaster response work can be better organized and managed to reduce stress risks, and (3) ways to improve the resilience of disaster workers and to improve mental health interventions.
Depression / Psychological Illness.
The mental health of workers is an area of increasing concern to organizations. For example, depressive disorders affect approximately 10% of adults in the U.S. each year and they are among the most costly health problems for organizations. Evidence linking work organization with depression and other mental health problems, and with increased productivity losses, is beginning to accumulate. There is a pressing need to better understand organizational practices and factors that contribute to poor mental health, to develop interventions that effectively target these risk factors, and to translate and disseminate information on risk factors and interventions for application in organizations.
Workplace Violence.
Studies indicate that as many as one-third of workers report they experienced some sort of psychological aggression, emotional harassment, or abuse while on the job .Workplace psychological aggression can be costly in terms of individual outcomes, such as increased psychological stress, reduced satisfaction, and poorer physical health, and in terms of organizational outcomes such as turnover, counterproductive work behaviors, and decreased productivity.
Older Workers:
A critical challenge in public health during the next decade is how to ensure the safety and health of an aging. Workforce. The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) estimates that between 2000 and 2015, the number of workers 55 years and older will increase by 72 percent – from 18.2 million to 31.2 million. This compares to a rate of only seven percent for workers between the ages of 16 to 54. Despite this unprecedented increase in the number of older workers, we have only limited knowledge of the safety and health risks they will encounter. Company need to better understand the types of jobs and working conditions older workers experience identify risk factors that may disproportionately affect these workers, and develop best practices and organizational-level interventions designed to improve the safety and health of older workers.
Minority Worker Health.
Evidence suggests that racial and ethnic minorities, who collectively comprise at least 25% of the workforce, are overexposed to a variety of health- and safety-compromising conditions due to their overrepresentation in low status occupations and due to issues related specifically to race and ethnicity. Despite these exposures, few research efforts have been directed toward better understanding the occupational safety and health of minorities
Coping with stress:
Stress can yield benefits but employees don’t tend to look that way. For them it’s just an escape route. What Management sees as an “opportunity to excel”, employees sees them as “Threat of excessive pressure”. Employees today do not want to put extra efforts, they just want to have 9-5 p.m.job, with very little to contribute, and the expectations are so high. There is a tendency for desire, even though they do not deserve, while the case should be first deserve, and then desire.
There are two approaches:
Individual approach i.e., employee himself takes the responsibility for reducing his or her stress level, by implementing time management, increasing physical exercise, adopting relaxation techniques, and expanding his social network. Stress is essentially an outcome of mismanagement of time. Whenever we encounter a stressful event, our bodies undergo a series of hormonal and biochemical changes that put us in ‘alarm mode’. To reduce stress Meditation, yoga, physical exercise helps to create dynamic peacefulness within you. Apart from these the following can also be done by employees to reduce the stress at work life.
a) Job Analysis:
To do a good job, one need to fully understand what is expected of him/her. While this may seem obvious, in the hurly-burly of a new, fast-moving, high-pressure role, it is oftentimes something that is overlooked. By understanding the priorities in your job, and what constitutes success within it, you can focus on these activities and minimize work on other tasks as much as possible. This helps you get the greatest return from the work you do, and keep your workload under control. Job Analysis is a useful technique for getting a firm grip on what really is important in your job so that you are able to perform well. It helps you to cut through clutter and distraction to get to the heart of what you need to do. And it shows you the tasks you should try to drop.
b) Time Management:
Good time management is essential if you are to handle a heavy workload without excessive stress. By using time management skills effectively, you can reduce work stress by being more in control of your time, and by being more productive. This ensures that you have time to relax outside work.
• Assess the value of your time, understand how effectively you are using it, and improve your time use habits;
• Focus on your priorities so that you focus on the most important jobs to do, delegate tasks where possible, and drop low value jobs;
• Manage and avoid distractions; and
• Create more time.
c) Valuing Your Time:
A first step in good time management is to understand the value of your time.If you are employed by someone else, you need to understand how much your employer is paying for your time, and how much profit he expects to make from you. If you are working for yourself, you should have an idea of how much income you want to bring in after tax. By working these figures back to an hourly rate, this gives you an idea of the value of your time. By knowing the value of your time, you should be able to tell what tasks are worthwhile to perform, and which tasks give a poor return. This helps you cut away the low value jobs, or argue for help with them.
Activity Logs:
Activity logs are useful tools for doing things. They help you understand how you use your time, so that you can identify and eliminate time-wasting and unproductive habits. This gives you more time to do your work, increases your efficiency, and makes it more likely that you will be able to leave work on time and have good quality time to yourself to relax. The first time you use an activity log, you may be shocked to see the amount of time that you waste! Memory is a very poor guide when it comes to this: It is too easy to forget time spent reading junk mail, browsing interesting but unhelpful web pages, talking to colleagues, making coffee, waiting for meetings, traveling, etc. By keeping an Activity Log for a couple of weeks, you can identify the unproductive time in your daily routine. By cutting this out, or by changing your habits, you can substantially increase your productivity.
To Do List:
Keeping a To Do List is one of the most fundamental but important working skills that people can have. To Do Lists help people to deliver work reliably, without letting tasks “slip through the cracks.” This obviously helps in reducing the stress of having failed to do something important. it is essential when you need to carry out a number of different tasks, or where you have made a number of commitments. If you find that you are often caught out because you have forgotten to do something, then you need to keep a To Do List.While To Do Lists are very simple, they are also powerful, both as a method of organizing yourself, and as a way of reducing stress.This may leave you feeling out of control, and overburdened with work. Keeping a To Do List guides you in your approach to work, puts the work into context, and gives you a starting point for negotiating deadlines.

2. Organizational approach:
Stress activities that cause stress like task of the employees and the role demands and organizational structures are controlled by the management which can be modified or changed. The management needs to focus on personnel selection, job placement, training and development, job redesign, improved employee improvement, establishing corporate wellness programs etc. Goals should be set realistically which serves as a means of motivation to the employees who when achieves them, are most stress free. Finally the wellness program which focus on employees total physical and mental conditions like, providing workshops for developing the regular exercise program shall contribute to the removal of stress in organizations.
Conclusion
Work stress is a real challenge for workers and their employing organizations. Individuals vary greatly in their capacity to endure stressful situations, and there is, undoubtedly, self-selection in the kinds of jobs and stressors that individuals choose. Because sources of stress may vary from worker to worker, providing a solution for one worker may create stress for another worker. Stress can be both positive and negative which has an impact on the employee’s performance at work. A coworker who is miserable

MY QUESTION AFTER YOU READ: Do you think Cathy is jealous of my relationship with Mark even though when I worked for him he tried to make me quit.I spoke to Cathy on the telephone.Every time I talk to her she puts Mark down and the people that Mark hired to work for him.She says that Mark is a jerk and stupid and the people that worked for him (excluding me) is stupid. When I worked for Mark he tried to make my life miserable, (I figured it out and so did my mom that it was only because he missed Stephanie ((his secretary before me)). He wanted me to quit so she could come back. (YOU see I suggested that he ask Stephanie to come back and he loved that idea) But I pushed him to get me placed somewhere else in my company. He set up interviews in departments I wanted to explore and then when I chose a particular department he made sure I was placed there. Also on my last day working for him I told him if he created a position that needs computer work only that he should hire me and he said "Definitely". (YOU see I am a wiz on the computer). And when he comes to the department I am working in he always makes sure to seek me out and say hello. Also now he got promoted to a very high position in our company. I even made a card (congratulating him on his promotion) on the computer, and mailed it to his house. Yesterday he came for a meeting and seeked me out again. MY MOM says: that if Mark really hated me and my work he would have either found a valid reason for firing me or continued to make my life miserable and if I was the type to quit I would have. But Mark really likes you but just wanted his secretary back.. Also about a month ago when I spoke to Cathy on the telephone: Cathy told me that when Tom Stevens comes to my department I should not talk to him until he approaches me because my coworkers would get upset. That is stupid. I know Tom since 1997. You see Tom is my bosses boss and Tom came to my department last week and he was happy I just want to add what else Cathy said: (1) that she thinks I should not stay in the department I am in for the last year because I am not benefiting from itI like my job and I like my coworkers. Cathy told me when people ask her what company she works for she is too embarrassed to tell them. And the other thing Cathy said to me that the only reason Mark got me into another department at a position I am overqualified for is that he would hope I would quit from there. STORY ONE: Is Carlys mom saying that Carly was overweight before and now Carly is skinny or is Carly reading too much into this: STORY : Carly is THIN and A FEW DAYS AGO when Carly came home from work she changed into a tee-shirt but wore the same pants she wore to work. Carlys mom asked her as they sat down to eat if Carly lost weight, and Carly said no, but this upset Carly. Carly said to her mom that her mom always tells Carly she looks beautiful. Her mom said you do look beautiful but your pants look bigger. And she told Carly that Carly is skinny enough.?. (OK KEEP IN MIND THAT LAST WEEK WHEN CARLY AND HER MOM WENT TO VISIT CARLY?S AUNT IN ANOTHER STATE THEY TOOK THE BUS. (CARLYS AUNT GAVE A DESCRIPTION OF CARLY TO THE CAB DRIVER PICKING CARLY AND HER MOM UP AT THE BUS DEPOT BY SAYNG CARLY IS VERY SKINNY. (AND THE LAST TIME THE AUNT SAW CARLY WAS A YEAR AGO.)STORY TWO: QUESTION I AM ASKING AFTER YOU READ THE STORY IS WHY would SANDY (a chunky girl ) tell MARY (a thin girl who is always told by strangers, relatives, friends she is thin/skinny, looks like a size 4) that Sandy thinks Mary is average and size 8,then pauses and adds in size 10. MARY (who is THE friend I am asking about) IS UPSET AS TO WHY SANDY WOULD SAY WHAT SHE SAID WHEN EVERYONE IS ALWAYS TELLING MARY SHE IS THIN/SKINNY AND SINGLE DIGIT SIZE. HERE IS THE STORY: Mary (very thin) and Sandy (chunky)met in the hallway, Mary told Sandy she got a parking spot right across the street. Sandy said to Mary Exercise. And the reason Sandy said she mentioned exercise because she is concerned about her heart. STORY: My friend Peggy was out sick for two days in a row with food poisoning. When Peggy came back to work she met Tania by the ladies room at 9AM. Tania said; girl you are skinny, you lost weight. Peggy thought Tania was implying that Tania never thought Peggy was skinny before her two day illness (everyone is always telling Peggy she is skinny - all of her). Anyway around 3PM Peggy was in Tanias office and Peggy asked Tania did Tania think that Peggy still looked sick and does Tania think Peggy look pale. Tania said Peggy you do look pale. Then Peggy said to Tania did Tania think Peggy looks drawn like Tania told Peggy earlier. And Tania said she didnt say that. What Tania said she said was that Peggys face looked like it lost weight and when one isnt smiling and one looks pale their face looks thinner. That night Peggy called me on the telephone and told me the story and asked me was Tania implying that she never thought Peggy was skinny before her two day illness. And I told Peggy that Tania wasnt saying that at all, all Tania said was that Peggys face looked skinnier. STORY FIVE: MY QUESTION after you read the story:: Do you agree/concur with Ramona's friends that Ramona should not be bent out of shape because the clerk could not see what she looked like due to the fact she was standing behind the partition and all he could see was her neck and face and she was wearing a coat. Ramona and the store clerk are the two people in the story. THERE AREABSOLUTELY NO SECURITY CAMERAS OR MIRRORS. STORY: Ramona came in and purchased her herb tablets. She asked him how much should one take. The clerk said to her that most women should weigh a 160 pounds, however, she weighs a little less so she can take less. The little less bothered her so she asked him to clarify what he thought she weighs he said 130 pounds. She replied you don't even know what I look like and he remarked that I see you come in here; Telling her that he thought she weighed 130 upset her because everyone always tells her that she looks like she weighs 110 or less.Also keep in mind that he wasn't facing her when he said this and there was a partition blocking his view of her so all he saw was her face and neck. When Ramona told her friends the story all of Ramona's friends said she should not be upset because when the clerk made the comment she was standing behind a partition and all he could see was her neck and face and Ramona was wearing a coat. STORY: Colette (who is very thin) went to a coffee shop for lunch and a girl who is there was eating lunch with her brother. The girl who is mentally challenged saw Colette eating a bagel and cream cheese and said; You shouldnt eat that;. The brother explained that his sister just came from a nutrition lecture. Colette told a co-worker the story and said; Do I look fat; The co-worker said; Colette you are very thin.; Later on Colette went to make Xerox copies of a report. Colette was standing on one side of the Xerox machine and Josie on the other and all they could see of one another was from the waist up. Colette and Josie exchanged small talk and then Colette said; Josie do you think I am thin?; Josie hesitantly said; Well, and then decided not to wait to make copies. Colette finished making copies went back to her desk. Late afternoon Colette got up to do something and Josie ran over and said to Colette; I only saw you sitting down, my god you are thin.; Colette that night got together with a few friends and in passing told them what transpired between she and Josie and all Colettes friends said ;the only reason Josie said; Well; in a hesitant voice was because Josie never saw you (Colette) standing she (Josie) only saw you (Colette) sitting so she (Josie) never realized how thin you (Colette) are and she (Josie) even admitted when she (Josie) saw you (Colette) standing that you (Colette) are thin.; STORY SEVEN: MY QUESTION: after you read the story: Did I give Patricia the right answer. STORY: Today at work an elderly customer asked Patricia if she lost weight and Patricia told her no. The customer said that Patricias face looked like she lost weight, but maybe Patricia was tired. Then as they started to walk toward Patricias coworkers desk the elderly customer told Patricia that Patricia is so skinny. Patricia said to her that that Patricia was always skinny. The elderly customer replied you are like me you lose weight in face but gain in stomach. The stomach part bothered Patricia. Patricia said to the elderly customer that Patricia is skinny everywhere. The elderly customer told Patricia that Patricia is skinny every where. That the elderly customer does not want Patricia to get fat but Patricia should gain five pounds. The elderly customer said that the elderly customers stomach is big since the elderly customer retired. And that the elderly customer thinks Patricia is skinny every where and she said that even Patricias hands are tiny as well. Patricia called me and told me the story and I told her that all the woman is saying that it looked Patricia lost weight in the face and Patricia is skinny everywhere including Patricias stomach, but the elderly lady has a big stomach. STORY EIGHT: MY QUESTION after you read the story DO you agree with what we said to Lucy? STORY: My friend Lucy was sitting at the dining room table with her cousin Eileen. Eileen turned to Lucy and said: Lucy you are a size 8 in clothes and Lucy replied; Yes I am.? Eileen said: I thought you are a size 8 but I could not remember if you told me you are a size 8 or 10. The next day Lucy told me and few of our other friends what Eileen said and Lucy asked us does my cousin think I am higher than a size 8 and we told her that no that Eileen does not think that at all STORY NINE: MY QUESTION after you read the story do you agree with Jennifer?s friends? STORY: Lets say two people (Katie and Jennifer) worship in the same place. However, they really don?t come in contact with one another in the place of worship or any other place for that matter, but one day they meet in the parking lot in the shopping center in town. And Katie says (in a surprised voice) Jennifer you are so skinny. However, Jennifer is/was always skinny. And when Jennifer told her friends what Katy said her friends said to Jennifer: Katie never looked at you ever so that day in the parking lot she finally saw what you looked like and until that day she never realized how thin you areSTORY TEN: MY QUESTION after you read the story is do you agree with Mimis friends: STORY: Mimi is a size 6 but LOOKS SMALLER and she went to a flea market and a woman was trying to sell a pair of jeans. The woman turned to Mimi and said you are a size 10 ;my daughter is a size 10. That night when Mimi went home she told her friends what the vendor said and her friends said to her: the vendor just wants to sell her jeans, she would say the same thing to a size 2.STORY ELEVEN What I am trying to ask is: that Patricia is telling Betty look how can I think you have plumb legs when I have never, ever seen them and it was only a dream nothing more.Here is the story again: "I know that Betty is reading into it: KEEP IN MIND IT WAS PATRICIA THAT HAD THE DREAM, NOT BETTY. PATRICIA HAD THE DREAM ABOUT BETTY and a Rock group. MY QUESTION: Can Betty accept the fact that Patricia does not think Betty has plump legs and it was only a dream.? The two players are Patricia and Betty. Betty always wears long wide skirts. Patricia and Betty were having lunch. Patricia told Betty she had a dream about a rock band that she and Betty love. The dream was as follows: Patricia and Betty were on a double date with John and Steve (two of the male rock stars). Patricia was with John and Betty was with Steve. Steve said I only like girls with plump legs and Patricia replied Betty has plumb legs. END OF DREAM. This dream got Betty upset and she asked Patricia are you saying my legs are plump. Patricia said no I have never seen your legs. It was only a dream STORY:Sharon (age 52/SKINNY AND OBSESSED WITH WEIGHT) was in a place of worship with her mom (age 81) and Sharon's mom said to Sharon that woman's necklace is pretty. Sharon said mom it is ok all it is just a chain. Her mom said no it isn't there are diamonds. But Sharon said it is just a chain. Her mother replied; I never admire jewelry but her necklace is beautiful. This got Sharon upset because Sharon buys beautiful jewelry at a ninety nine cent store but looks like it came from Bloomingdales). Sharon got mad and said to her mom so you don't like my jewelry. Her mom said your jewelry is beautiful but you cannot compare it to the women?s necklace. Then Sharon said some nasty things outside of the place of worship to her mom . At home her mom said in a nasty voice today you came looking to place of worship like a skeleton, your neck is scrawny, . THEN UP at the house her mother came into Sharon's room and said in an angry tone you have the nerve to tell me to go to h*ll at place of worship. Your neck is scrawny, you have a fat rear end., you fat horse. Sharon then asked her mother about a half hour later when her came back into Sharon?s room to fight some more mom do you really think that about my rear end. Her mom replied in a angry nasty voice that she does because the mom is convinced Sharon meant all the nasty things Sharon said to her mom so her mom was not going to change her answers. Sharon called a couple of her friends and asked did my mom mean the nasty things she said about me (rear end) and her friends said no people say nasty things they DO NOT mean to someone they are fighting with just to hurt them and no your mom does not think your rear is big. She just said because you are obsessed with weight. My question: Do you agree with what Sharons friends said?

STORY ONE: .?. (OK KEEP IN MIND THAT LAST WEEK WHEN CARLY AND HER MOM WENT TO VISIT CARLY?S AUNT IN ANOTHER STATE THEY TOOK THE BUS. AND CARLYS AUNT GAVE A DESCRIPTION OF CARLY TO THE CAB DRIVER PICKING CARLY AND HER MOM UP AT THE BUS DEPOT BY SAYNG CARLY IS VERY SKINNY. AND THE LAST TIME THE AUNT SAW CARLY WAS A YEAR AGO.Is Carlys mom saying that Carly was overweight before and now Carly is skinny or is Carly reading too much into this: STORY : Carly is THIN and A FEW DAYS AGO when Carly came home from work she changed into a tee-shirt but wore the same pants she wore to work. Carlys mom asked her as they sat down to eat if Carly lost weight, and Carly said no, but this upset Carly. Carly said to her mom that her mom always tells Carly she looks beautiful. Her mom said you do look beautiful but your pants look bigger. Kerry and Patti who were having a conversation about many things and then all of a sudden the following happened. Kerry said: Patti I think you are a size 5/6 in clothing, even the temp that works for me said you have to be a 5/6 in clothing. Patti didn't say anything. Kerry said; you have hips, but they are NOT big. Look at my hips, my hips are big yours are not; Patti just listened and didn't say anything.. At 5:00PM as Kerri ,Patti and Susan walked to their cars together Kerry told Patti again that Patti looks like a 5/6 in clothing. Patti asked Susan (a person who witnessed the conversation) Does Kerry think I have big hips; Susan replied; No Kerry does not. Kerry even told you that she doesn't think you have big hips. All Kerry is saying is you are thin with shape.
