Christmas in the Country Craft Fair, Hamburg

Consistently judged one of the top craft fairs in the USA, the Christmas in the Country Craft Fair brings hundreds of top artisans to the Hamburg Fairgrounds in New York State. During the year, the event organisers travel the country to find the top craftspeople for the show. Four hundred craftsmen from 27 states (plus Canada) present their goods to about 50,000 visitors over the course of four days.<br><br>

The breadth of items offered is suggested by the extensive list of categories on the fair's website - from baby items to woolen goods, by way of ceramics, lamp shades, goose garb (quilted items), porcelain, primitives, slates and wrought iron. Christmas in the Country has been voted the #1 Craft Show in the country by Sunshine Artists. For over 24 years Premier Promotions is dedicated to presenting the highest quality fine arts and designer craft shows in North America. Founded in 1984, Sally and Ed Kaczynski's focus on excellence helped them grow Premier Promotions to include four shows, three of which have been ranked among the Top 100 Shows in America by Sunshine Artist magazine. <br><br>

Since 1998, their signature show Christmas in the Country, is the only show in the nation to be ranked among the Top Five in America in each year. The show has been ranked in the Top Two since 2004 and annually draws more than 50,000 attendees. Christmas in the Country embodies the Christmas spirit as well.  Premier Promotions has helped raise nearly $1.2 million for Western New York charities.  Local organizations participating this year include Kids Escaping Drugs, Hamburg Eden Animal Rescue Team (H.E.A.R.T), Churches in Action (CIA), Variety The Children’s Charity of Buffalo, Kathleen Mary House, and the Hamburg Presbyterian Church.  And almost all show workers volunteer their time, earning money for their special charities. Christmas in the Country offers consistent quality – ranked in the top five shows over the last ten years by Sunshine Artist Magazine, a leading craft trade publication.  This superior event attracts collectors from many regions, including the Northeast, Southeast and Midwest U.S. as well as Southern Ontario.  The show’s location on the Fairgrounds in Hamburg, NY, just off Interstate 90, makes it an easy drive from Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Rochester and Toronto.
