Fragrance Lamp Oils and Woodwick Candles are Just Two Ways to Create Ambiance

If you have a fragrance lamp, then you should know a thing or two about fragrance lamp oils. First, let's talk about a fragrance lamp and what it can do for you. A fragrance lamp is a way to cleanse the air in your home and then lightly scent it in a process that has been used both safely and effectively for over a hundred years. In order to operate, a fragrance lamp requires that a special stone be lit with a flame. But after the stone has been thoroughly heated (this process takes less than ten minutes!), the flame can be blown out. Special catalytic combustion processes keep the stone heated, which in turn continues the process of purifying the air and then lightly scenting it.

What makes fragrance lamps so popular is that they are safe and quite easy to use. Fragrance lamp oils are the perfect accessories for fragrance lamps. While the lamp is busy doing its thing and cleansing the air by surrounding bad smelling molecules with anions and thus speeding up the decomposition process, fragrance lamp oils get to work by mixing with the stone and being re-released into the air. Since the heated stone is so efficient, the air is lightly, thoroughly and evenly cleansed, with the aromatics being evenly dispersed throughout the room or one thousand square foot space that the fragrance oil lamp is located in.

With winter coming, another nice scenting accessory for your home could very well be a Woodwick candle. A Woodwick candle is a scented candle that makes special crackling sounds while it is burning, much like a crackling and authentic fire does. Better yet, did you know that a typical Woodwick candle will last three times as long as a regular candle will?

Typically, you can find Woodwick candles being put to use in country settings. Going along with the country and rural locations that these special candles are used in, common scents include pine, blackberry, applewood and sandalwood.

People love Woodwick candles because of their unique scents, as well as the sounds they give off while they are burning.

A Woodwick candle may be right for you if you want an organic candle that uses all natural products, including a wick that contains no lead; if you want to be comforted by the sounds of a crackling fire; if you want a candle that will last a long time; if you want to do your part to help conserve natural resources; if you enjoy the idea of owning a high quality candle made of natural, high quality ingredients that have been hand selected.
