Give a Tabletop Fountain Gift and Improve a Life

Tabletop fountains make wonderful gifts. Do you know someone who would love to have a garden but unable to tend one because of a medical condition or who lives in an apartment and does not have a garden at all. A table top fountain will bring the outdoors to those who cannot enjoy an afternoon in the garden.

When I gave a tabletop fountain to an elderly couple who only had a small balcony on which to feed the birds that came to visit were ecstatic with the gift. It was an anniversary present to them and I knew they enjoyed going to the park on warm days and would often sit by the fountain.

This was my way of bringing the park to them. With winter closing in, they would not be going to the park very often. They now have that tabletop fountain surrounded with house plants. There is a tall red bromeliad standing at the back and some smaller African violets gathered in close to benefit from the clean air that the fountain produces.

They have hanging plants that cascade down as if trying to reach the water below. What they have created is a small paradise in an old apartment.

Tabletop fountains are not expensive by any means and they make really great gifts. To hear the enjoyment and pleasure that they get from that beautiful little fountain cannot be expressed.

When you start looking for tabletop fountains, there are a few things that you need to consider.

  1. Know where it is going to be placed. Make sure there is an electrical socket close by to provide power to the pump. A water source is not necessary because the water is contained in a sump.

  2. Make sure that the table the fountain will stand on will be sturdy enough to hold the fountain and any plants that may be added.

  3. Ensure that when you pick out a nice water fountain that the material it is made from will complement the room that it is in.

  4. The person that you are buying the gift for may want to have some plants placed around it. Consider getting them a gift card for the local garden center or nursery so they can choose their own plants.

A tabletop fountain can be very therapeutic. Table top fountains can become the center piece of an ever growing scene as they have with my elderly friends. Plants that are in close proximity benefit from the negative ions that are produced by moving water and will grow lush and strong. My friends go to the library to research which plant to save up for and buy. Every few weeks they will add a new plant to their collection.

Plants are not the only ones to benefit from the gift. The receiver of the gift will enjoy a healthy environment that the fountain and plants produce. The air will become cleaner and there will be less allergen in the air. Think about it, you never get allergies near a mountain stream. My friends seem a lot healthier. They do not complain of allergies as often but the most important benefit that I noticed was that they are much

That single, inexpensive gift seems to have changed their lives – for the better.

Tabletop fountains are not expensive to buy and the cost is nothing compared to the enjoyment that they will bring for many years into the future.

Splash out and give someone a tabletop fountain as a gift today.
