How to Eliminate Clutter and Organize Your Home

Your home is where you go to relax and unwind. Do you walk inside your home and instantly catch site of numerous out of place things creating an overall messy looking room?

If this is true you just lost your relaxation and unwinding opportunity.

How do you feel when by surprise the doorbell rings? Honestly! You are not alone! Most households to some degree become messy, cluttered and unorganized.

The day and age we’re living in is very time demanding, by our job, children’s activities, social events, church and other activities that keep us on the run.

Let us take you on a step by step guide of ideas to help you resolve these issues.

Try to create a schedule that would allow you to spend 30 minutes a day working on organizing your home. If you commit to this 30 minute daily effort toward organizing and removing the clutter from your home you will start seeing results instantly.

Everyone is familiar with the phrase "The Process of Elimination". Use this to your advantage. Some of the things you’re hanging on to may be causing a bigger problem than they will ever bring you any benefit.

Start by going through all the papers, magazines, and catalogs you have saved. Make an honest decision on their usefulness. File away all the important documents in a box or file cabinet. Find a large decorative basket for your remaining books, magazines, or catalogs. If you don’t have this type of basket you can buy them cheap, so buy a few of them to use in different areas throughout your home.

Evaluate your stuff. You know what I mean, knick knacks, what knots, souvenirs, from everywhere, gifts from everyone and those things you don’t even remember where they came from.

If you feel like you have to keep these things, Okay, but do you have to display all of them?

Start a storage bin and store away as many keepsakes and treasures as you can. The areas where you have cleared away and organized the clutter will give a sense of space, freedom,

cleanliness and most of all peace of mind.

Let the doorbell ring now! Visitors are welcome. You are now filled with pride and satisfaction.

Congratulations on your success:
