3 Reasons Why You Aren't Making Money With Affiliate Marketing

Picture that money is flowing in continuously and you are having more than enough money to spend. Do you like it? That is how you feel when you have a successful affiliate marketing business.

However, to many affiliate marketers, that remains as a dream and they are still struggling with the business. So, below are 3 brief reasons of why you are still struggling with the business and how you can rectify the problems and start making money with the business.

1. Sell something else

Albert Einstein once said that "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

Since you know that your product doesn't convert, why are you still hanging onto it? Start selling something else after this. If you look deep enough, you can always find something you like that is worth promoting.

Some of you might comment that the vendor for the niche you like only offer physical product. Well, it doesn't matter whether you are selling a physical or digital product. Both of them share the same marketing strategies.

You still make money when the customers buy through your link and the vendor will still cover the guarantee and the delivery. The business concept is still the same if you look at it.

2. Wrong strategy

For all you know, you might be promoting your product to the wrong market. The people who visited your website might be looking for free information. They will turn off immediately once they see that they need to pay for the information. And to avoid this, you probably want to target your marketing campaign to the market which is interested to get your product and you can start by changing the title tag of your website.

Speaking of website, many affiliate marketers thought that they can make money with affiliate marketing without having any website or platform. That is one of the deadliest mistakes affiliate marketers can make in their business. Many marketers thought that they don't need any platform because they can always refer the customers to the vendors.

If that is the case, picture yourself running an offline business. In this offline business, you too are making money by referring customers to the suppliers. Don't you think it is better that you can setup a physical shop and allow your customers to stop by your shop before directing them to the suppliers?

At least your customers get to know you and probably build a relationship with you. You can actually save a lot of effort marketing to your customers when you have built a relation ship with them.

3. Outside the box

Just to share with you, making money with affiliate marketing is getting more and more difficult nowadays. More and more professional affiliate marketers are rising to the surface almost everyday. You will want to start thinking outside the box when you want to earn money in this business.

And to help you on that, you don't need to run this business alone anymore. Many marketers nowadays are open to the idea of working together. They are interested to tap into more markets in the most resourceful manner and this probably has made joint venture kind of popular these days. Besides, it is always an advantage to run your business with someone who has similar passion and interest as you.
