When a new person first start searching for work at home opportunities they are afraid they will be taken advantage of. So in this article we want to answer the question how many honest work at home opportunities are there online today.
Sadly, as long as there are people willing to spend money there will be people willing to cheat them out of it. Some of these people are so tricky they would rather cheat you than go out and honestly earn money. The person who really falls for this is the person who believes everything they read without checking out the facts.
Before you spend any money or any time with a company online you must do your due diligence first. Thankfully there are many programs that you can join that are free and do not cost you any money to get started. This could be a trap that you need to watch out for.
Some companies would prefer to let you start with them for free, and then take your money, than they would to try and get your money out of you up front. So just because a business is free to join does not make it an honest work at home opportunity.
The other thing is, anybody can throw up a website and put fake testimonials on it to make it appear that it's a legitimate opportunity. This does not make it honest either as the names in the testimonials can easily be made up.
If you're going to look at testimonials look for links to websites. These are links that you can click on that will take you to a real website of the person who is offering their testimonial on the opportunity that you're looking at.
You may even want to go so far as to contact those people individually either through a contact form on their website, to an e-mail, or by phone if they listed phone number. This will give you a chance to talk to them and get their opinions before you join any opportunity.
Look for logos on the opportunities of the business that would lend credibility to it. Things like logos to the TRUSTe Privacy Program, the Better Business Bureau, the logo for Validatedsite.com, and others.
As long as you're smart you can find an honest work at home opportunity. You cannot believe everything you read on the Internet. You can trust your instincts, however, if you will take the time to check everything out.

I know of IRC software support rooms and http://qunu.com but I am looking for something more advanced, for instance a database where you can tag yor question (without writing it, tags alone), leave your IM details, take advantage of a tag-matching system like here on Yedda and wait to be contacted on your personal IM client.
