How to Start an Internet Business With Limited Capital

Most aspiring new Internet Marketers are looking to start an internet business for the same two reasons: namely,  to create more freedom and choice in their lives. They may give different reason but usually, if you dig a bit, the fundamental reasons are all about these two core values, the two values prized by human beings above all others, freedom and choice. Freedom to do whatever you want to do and the ability to choose, when and with whom.

However, most of these new marketers have only the vaguest idea of where to begin and many of them do not have tens of thousands of pounds to invest in their idea and so do not even consider it properly. However, today, there are several fantastic "businesses-in-a-box" which have all of the systems set up and in place, including turnkey sales and marketing systems, lead capture pages, full training and product suites and all available for a relatively modest investment of between £300-£2,000. If you compare that to the investment required to start up a bricks and mortar franchise of at least £15,000 and upwards, this is increibly good value given the return that some of these internet businesses can produce if marketed properly.

And this is the key, the number one reason that most internet businesses fail, is that the person who invests in one does not have a clue what they are doing, do not generate any traffic to their site and so do not sell anything and therefore make no money. Coupled with this, often they join an internet business where once they have paid their membership fee, they are orphaned and left to get on with it by themselves, with no help, guidance or training. 

Bearing this in mind, if you genuinely want to start an internet business and have between £300-£2,000 of start-up capital to invest, then you absolutely can do it. My Internet Business was already created for me, all I did was duplicate what other successful people in the business were doing. The key difference though, is that I bought into an internet business where full internet marketing training and techniques were provided, together with one to one support and mentoring. I have to work hard with this business, but the hard work is the marketing of the website and generating traffic to it. Once that is done, turnkey systems kick in to convert potential prospects into sales. How fantastic! You can do the same.

If you are researching an internet business to invest in, consider the following:

1. Make sure you can talk to an actual person about the business.
2. Make sure that you will be provided with enough resources, training and one to one help to enable you to effectively market your business and generate enough traffic to produce sales and income.
3. Conduct as much research and due dilligence as you need to into an internet business opportunity. Ask plenty of questions.
4. A genuine business will require some element of work from you so do not be mislead by claims of vast earnings from day one or week one. It will not happen, you will have to learn, and apply and take action.

Remember though, that there are plenty of people, no different from you or I, who have taken the leap, invested in themselves and are now reaping the benefits to varying degrees of success, of an additional income from a side business. The people that I know personally and speak to are seeing incomes of between £1,000 to £2,000 per month extra, all the way to six figure earners over the year, from an internet business they have been running in some instances for only 18 months.
