The internet arrived just over twenty years ago and is now used by a billion people worldwide – with numbers soaring every year. In the USA and Canada 232 million people use the internet – 70 per cent of the population – and another 312 million in Europe. Fast growth will continue when the booming Asian economies roll out internet coverage across the continent. Already there are 389 million internet users there, but that’s only ten per cent of the population, so the potential for growth is enormous.
The internet has changed the way we communicate and entertain ourselves. On average we check our emails five times a day and spend an hour a day writing and reading them. Americans now spends more time surfing the internet that reading newspapers, magazines, books or even playing video games. We are also busy reading and writing internet blogs – there are around 40 million with another 40,000 opening every day! Then there are internet forums and chat rooms where surfers can exchange views, swap information and make friends. The fastest growing area is social the network with sites like MySpace, Facebook and Bolt.com which allow users to upload and share photos, videos, and music. The internet has changed our shopping habits. British shoppers spent £7.5 billion online last Christmas and New Year. If we’re not shopping we’re gambling – with 24 million regular online gamers in the USA and UK alone.
But there’s a downside too. The internet can be a dangerous place: chat rooms can hide paedophiles ready to prey on children; massive amounts of pornography is available which can corrupt and deprave; internet gambling becomes so addictive that staff play at work instead of doing their jobs. What can be done? The answer is PC monitoring – get your computer equipped with internet monitoring software using a range of internet monitoring tools. Keylogger software allows you to record every keystroke made on a computer. Using a family keylogger you can monitor what your child is doing on their PC. A perfect keylogger allows you to read their emails and chat room conversations thus ensuring online child safety. As an employer a spy keylogger, together with encryption and security tools, will let you see what your staff are doing on the office computer – working or gaming and downloading internet adult content? With network monitoring software you can keep an eye on up to 100 computers.
Here at Spysure we have developed cutting edge keylogger and internet monitoring software products to fit all your needs – from an easy-to-use internet monitoring software and family keylogger package for the home to the most sophisticated Network monitoring software for the office.
