3. Redirect to upsell page. Once your buyer has paid for the first product, he should be redirected to an upsell page that contains an offer to purchase another product.

4. Attach a "Yes" button to your one-click upsell page. Make the upsell easy for your buyer by adding a "Yes" button right below the offer. All the buyer has to do is click "yes" and the upsell product is automatically added to the first order. Since you have already captured the buyer's credit card or PayPal account information in the first transaction, there is no need for him to re-enter this information for the upsell to be completed. The additional sale is done in one click.

5. Add a downsell option. Don't allow a buyer to move away after selecting a "No Thanks" option on your upsell page. The purchaser might have decided against your upsell because of price or need. Program your one-click-upsell tool to redirect your buyer to a downsell page that will offer a lower-priced product or a limited offer he may not refuse.
