Selling Physical Information Products on Ebay is not as Hard as You Think

Since eBay banned the sale of digitally delivered goods in May 2008 most sellers have given up. They simply weren't prepared to put in the effort required to create and sell physical information products. As a result a massive gap has opened in the eBay marketplace and anyone who is prepared to do a little work can reap the rewards.

Selling physical information products on eBay is not as hard as you think. In the past most sellers simply sold an eBook that could be digitally delivered and they automated the whole process. And this can still be done via the classified ad format. However, the real money is made in turning your eBooks into physical products, sure, you need to work a little harder but the rewards are greater and here are three examples to show you how you can do it.

1, Burn your eBook to CD Rom. This is the route most eBook sellers have taken, however, be sure to make your customer experience as pleasant as possible by creating interactive CD's that run automatically as soon as the CD is inserted into the customers computer. Don't just burn your pdf to CD and expect your customer to be happy. Include professional looking graphics and package your product in a professional manner.

2, Turn your eBook into a physical book. There are a ton of low cost services on the internet that can turn your eBook into a physical book. This gives your product a higher perceived value and this means more eBay profits for you.

3, Record your eBook and turn it into an audio book. Again, there are many low cost services that can do this for you. Once again the perceived value is higher so your profit margins will increase.

There you have it, three simple techniques that can turn your digitally delivered eBook into a physical product. Always remember a physical product has a higher perceived value than a digital product and always remember to make your customer experience as pleasant as possible by creating interactive and professional looking products that will impress your customer. Do this and the eBay digital download ban could be the most profitable opportunity you have ever come across.

You must realize that ever since eBay banned the sale of digitally delivered goods a massive gap has opened up in the marketplace. It's time for you to take advantage of this gap and start creating your own physical information products for sale on eBay.
