2. The affiliate marketer is the person who sells the products and gets paid a commission for doing it. Affiliate marketing appeals to people who do not have products of their own to sell. 3. A third component is the network itself. Think of them as a go between who brings merchants and affiliates together. Affiliate networks are very valuable to merchants who do not want to process their own payments or recruit their own affiliates. The affiliate marketing networks comes in very handy to affiliates looking for affiliates merchants in a particular area instead of them browsing the whole internet.
As a promoter of an online program,marketing networks are a great thing. It makes it very easy to monetize a website when you can go to an affiliate network to find merchants to represent.
For example ClickBank is an affiliate network that brings together publishers and affiliate marketers to sell digital information products.
