After preparation all documents are sent for approval.</li> <li>Coding Phase- At this stage pages are created, effects are built in, images are produced, gateway scripts are written and any other programming requirements are produced. All the Modules and sub division are decided and code to all.</li> <li>Testing Phase- Web based applications need rigorous testing. There are certain offline testing tools as well as some online testing tools which can help the testers to test web applications. Some of the testing which should be done are, Integration testing, Stress testing, Scalability testing etc.</li> <li>Implementation Phase- Implementation is the part of the process where software engineers actually program the code for the project. The step includes implementation preparation, implementation of the system into a production environment and resolution of problems identified in testing.</li> <li>Maintenance – Maintenance is the important step of the whole process. It includes frequent updating of the web site to keep it fresh.
