If you told me I'd have made seven figures online at this time 8 years ago I would have laughed. I was broke, broken, and desperate. I guess you could have said I was at the end of my rope and it was do or die.
I distinctly remember watching late night television one night and I saw a commercial on local cable access for a life insurance website that did quotes online. At the time I sold health insurance in my community and I thought..."Wow...what a great idea." I thought the selling of insurance on the web was a phenomenal idea but I knew nothing about it. Now, when I say nothing....I mean, I couldn't even turn on a computer. I had never even checked email before but my grandpa use to tell me from the time I was 8 or 9 years old, "Son, the future is in computers". That was a time where a word processor was as big as a garage.
I went to the local Gateway computer store and bought a laptop with financing. I think I paid $22 a month and if I would have kept paying that minimum payment I'd have it paid off by the year 2025. I bought books on web design at local bookstores and taught myself. It was a matter of 3 years of Googling everything I could think of and a lot of books because I didn't have anyone to teach me.....
Long story short and 8 years later my affiliate sites I created which started at three or four visitors a week spawned to over 225,000 visitors monthly and enabled me to make as much as $91,000 per month in affiliate commissions and sell one of my affiliate sites for over $1Million.
