1. Join some type of business

As simple and as obvious as this sounds, most people's number one reason they don't succeed online is because they don't join a program or business! They spend hour after hour, night after night researching, contemplating, and ultimately putting their hopes and dreams aside and never join anything.

Now I know Most people are very skeptical of most online programs, but even I have joined programs in the past and have not made a dime. In fact, my first few years of online marketing never had one business adventure that left me in the green. Not one time in my first few years did I ever make any significant amount of money to make a positive impact on my bank account.

2. Learn From Your Mistakes

Dollar after dollar kept going out of my pocket but I kept telling myself that I was learning from my failures. The way I saw it, I would never "lose" anything as long as I had something positive to "gain." Now that I have been marketing online and offline for years, I think this is the number one tip that has allowed me to succeed.

It was hard for me to keep losing money, because when I started my online "career" I was just 14 years old. Every dollar that came out of my pocket hurt just a little more than the average person, mainly because I didn't have a real job to cover my other costs. I didn't care because I knew I was "investing" in learning how to ultimately "fail my way to success." Years later I now know something that I could have used to jump start my way to making a ton of money online...

3. Join People Who Are Successful

This may be another thing that most people might think should be a no-brainer. After years of doing things by myself, I finally realized that if I had other people helping me, successful people that is, I could progress many times faster than I could just doing it by myself.

I began interacting with other online marketers that I knew had made a substantial amount of money online. To my surprise, most were eager to assist me and help me get to where I wanted to be. Now that I realize what it takes to be successful, I can understand why they were so willing to help.

They would help me because quite frankly, they had been where I was... at the bottom. Now that I am highly successful online, I can relate to people calling me asking for advice, asking for motivation, anything. I realize that if I can spend 3 minutes on the phone with them, they could possibly save hours of time and tons of money on something that I may have tried before.

With the knowledge I have gotten over the years, I now know that if I would have never joined a program and learned from the mistakes I made in that program, I would not be where I am today.
