A fact that few know is that only 90% of those who start a business on the internet today end up failing. There are a lot of reasons why this happens but below are the most common reasons.
The first problem that many starting full time internet marketing businesses face is that they lose focus. There is so much information at their hands that they do not know where to start. The marketer gets distracted by the amount of information at their finger tips that they jump around from one technique to another and their focus completely goes away.
The problem with this is that they see no positive results, begin to get frustrated, and ultimately give up. How to solve this problem is pick one technique that you want to do and then focus on it and do not get involved with any other ones.
The internet is an amazing tool with all of the information that is available to you. The problem with this is that there is so much information that internet marketers do not know where to start. It is overwhelming if you are just starting your business because everyone has the next great way to make money online. They will tell you the blogging is the way to go, or affiliate marketing, or article marketing, or pinging, or forum marking, etc. This is probably one of the biggest reasons why new internet marketers fail, they are simply overloaded.

The next problem that comes up is that you start to fail to take action. With so much information and a lack of focus the easiest thing to do is to do nothing and that is where failure is waiting.
Does all of this mean you should not try and start your own full time internet marketing business? Of course it does not mean that. 10% of you that start your own business online will succeed and will see great results. The key to your success is do not get overwhelmed with all of the information available to you, find something you know about and pick that. Do not lose your focus, find one technique and use it. Finally, do not fail to take action, as soon as you have an idea do it. If you do this you will succeed.
