Work from home opportunities have been around for a lot of years actually. It’s only now that with the advent of the internet that a lot of people have started doing it. So what are these jobs that you always listen about spoken in whispers in the corridors of your office? If you’ve got a flair for the English language, if you know your way with the written word; then article writing is just the thing for you. You may be given any said topic and you have to write a set number of words on it. And that article is sold to clients who will use it to attract customers for their products. This is targeted marketing. All they have to do is wait for someone to type the exact keywords in Google. This is a good work at home job.

Then there is another type of targeted marketing work at home job. In this, the customer who views the advertisement is paid a portion of the amount that the advertising company is spending. The advertiser does not have to put the adverts on television or radio. They just give it to some websites that hold them and ask people to register with them. Once you register, you will receive only advertisements that you want to see. And each email you open will give you new money. It’s not much, but it makes for an idle pastime.

Then there are the call centers and medical transcription companies. This is actually good money if you put your heart into it. But there are a few tests that you might have to complete, usually at their main centre. And then you will be employed complete with benefits and you will be on payroll. But you need to adhere to strict guideline like no noise and distractions. If your dog keeps barking, you might get fired!
