Affiliate Marketing Pays - Milking Cows!

I felt blessed; life felt very good. I thanked my lucky stars I had taken great financial advice. I had made money in Affiliate Marketing using Google Adwords. I was now ready to take on the world of Internet Marketing.

Like many before me. I signed as an Affiliate. I justified expenditure I did not have, as crucial to my online business. Before long I was inundated with Free E books. Free E-zines. Free Membership’s. Free Articles. Free Products. Free software and better yet; free Websites.

I was astounded my freebies doubled, then trebled and even quadrupled. I had more free stuff to give away than the Police lost and found.

Demands on my time increased. I became alarmed. My Affiliate Marketing business began to take on a life of its own. I spent every single moment helping Gurus run their businesses.

There was only organized chaos. Gurus showed an insatiable drive to amass more wealth. I became familiar with the Guru Mantra. Do as we say and not as we do.

This mantra vilified huge amounts of spam that flooded into my inbox daily. (And yours I’ll wager) Good advice on how to spare your opt-in list flew out the window. I received an offer a week from twenty gurus selling me their products. I am sure you can do the math.

This was a Psychological tactic. Based on the premise; that if you were hit hard, and often enough, you must at some point cave in and buy. I bought into many products. (I wonder why…)

Once Gurus had you listed for three months, you were a lifer. They shared you with their Guru friends. I can hear the conversation, as it echoes hollow down the corridors, at the Seven-Figure-A-Month old boys club. Hello John, how are you… I have an offer that is going to make you a Squillion dollars this week.

I have a new product launch… Look John. You need send only one email and you get to make a Squillion dollars this week. Here’s the deal... how would you like to milk my cash cows as well? I will give you a 50% split if you let me promote my product to your cash cows. Great stuff Jim. Partner!

Guru Jim is ecstatic. He does not have to create; or market a product. Everything is all set up nicely. He stands to make a 100% profit doing absolutely nothing. Jim has an Idea. I can use John’s product as a Backend. Kaching! I can use my product as a front end. Kaching! I can get something to go in the middle end from rent-a-Guru. Kaching! I can tap into every Click bank launch this month and make a gazillion Dollars before anyone else wakes up to milk their cows.

Jim will hit his List hard. There are seven launches this month. Once Jim sees the bottom line, he will do the only thing. Cash in of course. He will involve as many of his Guru friends to add more product and sales. This is how they share their spoils. Everyone is happy. (Did I say everyone?) This is how the end-game is played.

These Gurus were all “gunners”; I was “gunna” prosper as they had. Gunna make millions a year online as they had. I was gunna enjoy every freedom they had. I was gunna holiday in exotic locations every summer as they had. I was gunna own at least two houses on two continents as they had. I was gunna have all three high performance cars they had. Unfortunately for me, this was only if I was gunna buy everything they were gunna sell me…

I went from an Affiliate marketer for twenty Gurus, to a fulltime Cash Cow. Yes I felt like a Cow as well. I was being milked… for every single Cent I had.

I write this that you may learn from the experiences of others. (I wonder who that might be…)

There are many positives to take from this. In light of Web 2.0 and Social Networking Sites, gurus are on notice to be more accountable. The Internet social community is monitoring them.

Also there are many genuine Internet Marketers working hard to set the industry straight. They are doing everything they possibly can, to help affiliates succeed. This being the case; your success is assured in spite of any drawbacks you may encounter. The worm is turning in Affiliate Marketing!
