When I decided to join an affiliate marketing training program, I was struggling to make ends meet. I would use my spare money to create websites that were getting absolutely no traffic, and I was running in circles trying to find the answers.
I had learned in college how to create websites. What I did not learn was how to market them. This was the most important part and my reason for building a website. I wanted to make money online. I got an email one day from an email list that I subscribed to telling me about Wealthy Affiliate.
I wanted to know what free online marketing methods I could use to create an income. I needed to know how to create backlinks proactively. I wanted the first page of Google for my keywords, and I wanted straight answers. Once I signed up for Wealthy Affiliate, I gained access to lessons and materials that mapped out a plan for creating websites, and marketing them using all free methods. I also learned about email marketing, and how to create PPC campaigns.
When I first joined this affiliate marketing training program, I was overwhelmed. There was a lot of material to read and go through, and when you are trying to decide how you are going to pay the rent this month, the last thing you want to do is wade through hours of online material. You don't want to take things slowly. I needed fast results.
Thankfully, I learned to trust other members of Wealthy Affiliate. I asked questions, and they had answers. I test drove the research tools, and found many of them very useful. I also took advantage of their learning center, and put some plans into action. That is key in affiliate marketing, you have to get started. To date, I am making sales every month now, and I am excited about my future as an internet marketer.
