While everyone makes mistakes sometimes, it's in a webmaster's best interest to learn everything he or she can about Internet marketing, and to keep up with the latest trends.  New Internet marketers should also choose to sell an interesting product that they themselves would buy. A common mistake that some novices make is signing up for any ole' affiliate program rather than one in which they themselves have a lot of faith and interest in.
