This will help webmasters more than any other group of internet participants. Whenever you set up your own website you want to create publicity and attract as much traffic as you possibly can so that your website is worth its existence. There are many methods of attracting traffic to your website and one of them is posting articles to free directories. This method works for many and I’m a witness to its benefits, however, there are those article directories that demand too much from contributors. I believe such websites should be avoided by webmasters.
I’m writing from experience and would not want to pay for posting an article to an article directory, which is what some internet marketers are doing to other webmasters. I justify my belief in the article ‘Warning! – Exploitation Abounds at Traffic Abundance’. If you want to gain sustainable publicity for your website, you must use sustainable means, which of course includes attracting free traffic. Once you pay for traffic you may not get the courage to work on free traffic generation options, yet someday your budget may be depleted and thus you wont have traffic at all.
Be mindful of what you do with your money and your effort trying to build a lasting profile for yourself or even your website. If you are desperate for traffic, others will make attempts into your pocket. I always advice people to have an investment attitude when doing business online because success may not come as soon and as much as you put your effort into it today, but sustaining your efforts over an extended period of time makes success.
Therefore be warned, some of those that think have it will attempt exploiting you.
