Well, obviously you are.  And by doing so, you probably have a website you need to get traffic to, right?

Of course.  That's the only way to make any money online.  You are selling your product or someone elses product (even adsense is someone elses product) and you want as many visitors to come to your website as possible.

This is not very hard to do, if you know what you are doing. There are some key steps you have to follow that work every single time...well, almost.  If you are trying to rank for the keyword Microsoft or something you might as well give up.  But, if you have done your keyword research and optimized your site for those keywords, then getting traffic is pretty easy.  You did optimize your website for the most searched and "buying" keywords out there, right?  Hope so!  It's very important to getting ranked high in the search engines.

There are a couple ways to get traffic.  Organic search results (left side of Google) and PPC (pay per click - right side ads).  I have been marketing online for years now and I rarely use pay per click.  It costs too much money and I find that organic traffic converts much better anyways.  Plus, once you get your site to the first page of Google (hopefully top 3) you are sitting pretty to receive all kinds of free traffic and you will make money.  Then, you can focus on another site and do it all over again!
