How to Increase My Traffic For Website Owners

Alright lets face it, everyone who has ever built a website says to themselves, "I need to increase my traffic.” Thats great! Internet marketing is fantastic if you get good money. And great money online comes from sales and advertising, both of which traffic is needed for.

But how can you increase your traffic? Well, I'll admit, it's not easy, especially if you want traffic for free. However, it is definitely possible. I have put together a few simple methods to get free and easy traffic.

Method 1: Article marketing. Article marketing is writing articles for free online directories. Did you know that writing this article was 100% free? Do you realize that I did not have to post the URL of this article to any indexes for it to appear on Google and other searches? Do you realize that I did not have to pay a cent to get the resource box posted on the bottom of this page? Article marketing has some pretty sweet benefits, and all you have to do to write an article is type what you know. People out there will read what you have to say.

Method 2: Video marketing. Youtube is a great way to advertise your website for free. You can use simple programs (such as windows movie maker) to make simple yet convincing videos. You don't need to download or buy any software to make videos, most computers come with free video-making software.

Method 3: Traffic exchange systems. Traffic exchange systems aren't exactly my favorite form of traffic. Traffic exchange systems allow you gain traffic credit by browsing through other websites. So, the more websites you visit, the more visits your website gets. I don't recommend these systems because they don't drive highly targeted traffic to your website like article and video marketing do. Method 4: Freeviral. Freeviral is an amazing online system that can drive millions of views to your site. Method 5: Bookmark Your Website. You can easily bookmark your website to tons of different bookmarking sites. Digg and Twitter are examples of these. Bookmarking your website also increases your back links. Which, in the long run, will make your website easy to find in search engines.
