This is especially true for businesses that are totally based online. For businesses that are conducted entirely via the web, internet marketing online is the main, if not the only, mode of communication. And it is common knowledge that when it comes to internet marketing, the strategy counts more than the amount of investment.

Internet marketing online has various components, the most important of which is setting up a website. Having a website is where a company’s online presence begins. In fact, not only is the presence of a website important, it has also become essential. The absence of a website raises the suspicion that a company is not incredible or is a fly-by-night. In addition, it is widely admitted that people use the internet for so many different purpose. And people don’t stop accessing the internet seven days a week, and 24 hours a day. All these are enough reasons why any forward-looking company should set up a website and maintain or sustain its web presence by including internet marketing online as part of their overall marketing plan and business strategy.

But what about the budget? How much do you need to have in order to put together and implement an internet marketing strategy? The good news is, internet marketing is a scalable activity. Once you have set up your web presence, you can scale up or scale down your marketing strategy according to your budget. You can choose the components of your internet marketing plan depending on how much you can invest.

To give you an idea, you will normally spend initially for domain registration for the domain name of your website, as well as for hosting services. In a nutshell, if you have a well-planned strategy, internet marketing online is worth your investment, essentially because you can invest only as much as you are willing to invest.
