Is Shorter Better for Article Marketing?

 

Let's say your surfing the net trying to look for tips on good photo editing. You've found two online writings. The one is long, but you think there's so much that can be taken from it. The other one looks short, but tips are in bullet. Now, if you are to choose, which would you prefer? The long or short one?

 

If you choose to read the long one, you might as well just get a book and start reading. No need for internet there. That means you've got all the time in the world. Online surfers, by merely choosing to look for information using the net, are in hurry for an answer. The world wide web offers them fast solutions to any of their questions. Getting into libraries and looking for books about topics they wish to know about takes so much of a time.

 

In article marketing, providing the opposite of what surfers want to read means a doomed business. Long articles are the exact opposite of what these online readers need. Time is of great value to them. By making an article long, you will consume a great deal of their time. And this they do not like. You will also push your prospected customers out of your business range. It will make them feel that to get what they need, they have to go through the painstaking process of too much reading.

 

The solution? Make your online writings short. Present your ideas in a concise and clear way. As simple as that, you can get your readers' attention and start making business with them. Of course that is not just literally making everything short.

 

Content is important too in online writing. That means aside from the length of your work, information within it must be considered too. Short articles but with rich information is one effective piece of work that works well enough in article marketing. Cutting information just to make an article less lengthy will have the same effect as writing long articles - disappointment for the readers.

 

To make article marketing an effective tool for your marketing strategy, have your online writings be checked. Make sure that it is short yet full of digestible information.
