Marketing: How to Market a Blog Series 1

One of the most important ways of marketing blog is with the use article. This is a method of exchange where in; blogger will write articles for article websites or any website functioning in almost the same way as article sites. The more the article a blogger writes, the more the traffic the blogger will gain; in return of the blogger’s talent submitted (article) to this article sites. And that is why this method of generating traffic is referring to as a METHOD OF EXCHANGE.

Number of articles written by the blogger does not determine the success and achievement of the blogger’s goals (traffic to be generated) but how quality these articles are.

Writing Quality Article:

Article in brief; is a formal means of communicating in written. For this; some vital points ought to be checked often. And they are:

Topic: How Can One Choose What Topic to Write on?

1-First, topics to be chosen should be much more related to the content of the blog the traffic are to be directed to.

For example: A blog discussing HOME BASED BUSINESS should not write article about INTERNET SECURITY as the topics have contradicted each other.

2-Topic to be focused should have a very tin number of competitors (writers/Authors) though, may attract a very tin readers as well but; writers will have a 100% assurance that their articles will reach the targeted traffic within a very short period of time and the goals shall be achieved (traffic) earlier.

For example: The number writers writing about BUSINESSES is so high compare to writers writing about LOVE. Therefore, the proportion of consumers of BUSINESS STUFFS will be very low per writer compare to LOVE STUFFS having very low writer.

3-Topic to be chosen should be GOLD among topics thus; should be a topic that interests and attracts more readers. By this, I mean…topic that a lot of people are always in taste of. Such as LOVE QU0OTES, BUSINESS TECHNIQUES among others.

TITLE:

Having chosen the right, attractive and marketable topic the next is; TITLE. Title; being the first section of an article to be sighted by readers, it should be brief, sensible, straight forward and attractive so as to capture the interest and attention of readers at first sight.

Example: “Being an Idol Blogger…” “Being an Idol Blogger” with these examples; one can see clearly that, they bring the same meaning and have different constructions. The former is more brief, attractive and straight to the point as compare to the later.

If article title is formed in the farmer’s form, readers can easily understand what the article is trying to discuss and will be motivated to proceed to reading the article with the aim that the article has a lot of promise to fulfill as sensed from the title.

CONTENT:

In contents of articles, the first 2-3 paragraphs are the most important as they served as driver driving and motivating readers down the end of the article where in; both the writer and the reader will fully benefit from the work (article). The reader will benefit from what he reads while the writer will benefit from the readers return to his blog or website (what makes CONTENTS quality shall be discussed in series2).

Ending/Landing: Remember, I am talking about marketing blog through ARTICLE WRITING and not forming a BLOG or Website’s page contents.

In writing article for article sites, ending is very important as it comprises almost all the goals to be achieved by the writer. This includes the resource box which contains information about the writer. Information like; the writers web address or blog, name, achievements among others.

If all these necessary information are not included, it is possible the writer will see no impact of his effort (generating traffic) on the blog through article writing.
