Mind Mapping Tips

Mind Mapping – Nick Mitchell

I have found from talking to people in the industry and in YourNetBiz that one of the most important things that gets overlooked so often in online businesses is creating a marketing plan or a schedule to map out exactly what you need to be doing. To have a game plan that you need to follow in order to achieve your goal is the first vital thing that should be done before you even start marketing.

Often people watch a training video or read an ebook with good content that they have every intention of implementing into their business plan but just simply never get around to it for whatever reason. Then they forget about it and do something else, leaving a gap in their marketing that could generate more free leads.

You can write down ideas and schedules but so many notes are never even read after being hastily being scribbled down in shorthand and are often misplaced or thrown away. The best and most clear way to make your schedule is to make an actual map of all the different components you need to put together to drive or herd your traffic to your branded pages.

There are free to join sites that can be used for ‘mind mapping’ that make it easy for you. One site is http://www.bubbl.us and you will be able to make a step by step route that you can follow and also record your progress. You can make all the parts gel together and erase the disjointed efforts that flaw so many strategies.

For example one ‘bubble’ may be Linking Sites which in turn could have 6 or 7 parts you need to be active in like Reddit, Diggit, Squidoo etc. These may be linked to your blog which links to your  video marketing which links to your bio page and so on but they all follow on and then wherever people find you they are steered back to your branded pages smoothly.

If you make one and implement it religiously you will be streets ahead of where you are now. It can be added to at anytime or ‘tweaked’ to suit the changes that will occur on your journey as you get more successful.

I have put together a great ‘map’ for the members of my group to use that is helping them out enormously right now. If you want to see how my business works you can check it out thru my bio page at  http://whoisnickmitchell.com

Self Improvement – Self Esteem

By: Nick Mitchell | 02/11/2009 | Self Improvement
Building self esteem will eventually lead to self improvement if we start to become responsible for who we are, what we have and what we do. Its like a flame that should gradually spread like a brush fire from inside and out. When we develop self esteem, we take control of our mission, values and discipline.

Self Improvement - Motivation

By: Nick Mitchell | 02/11/2009 | Self Improvement
How do you keep going and stay positive? You need a reason, a ‘Why’, a motivation. What or Who is your ‘Why’? Your kids or your partner may be your motivation, or pain may be the reason why people change. Getting flunked grades make us realize that we need to study. Debts remind us of our inability to look for a source of income. Being humiliated gives us the ‘push’ to speak up and fight for ourselves to save our face from the next embarrassments.

Self Development - Innovation

By: Nick Mitchell | 02/11/2009 | Self Improvement
Nothing will work without passion. What wakes you up in the mornings? What keeps the flame burning? What is the one thing that you'll die if you don't do? Sometimes people with talent are overtaken by the people who want it more. Think the hare and the tortoise. Ellen Degeneres once said that if you're not doing something that you want to do, then you don't really want to do it. And that's true. Sometimes you just want something so bad you become a virtual unstoppable. And that is passion.
