One of the reasons I enjoy working over the internet is because I can create a vast assortment of products and goods to satisfy customer needs. As a matter of fact I don’t believe I can ever fully satisfy the needs of my customers and they have an incessant desire to buy new products.
And there are all kinds of products I can create. You can do the same. You can develop e-books, reports, e-classes, tele-seminars, audio products, courses, DVDs, coaching programs and a mixture of all the above.
I’m guessing that this is your first information product, and suggest you start with an e-book. Writing an e-book is one of the easiest products to create. You can create a ten page e-book two hours!
If you are accustomed to writing you will find this task fairly easy. If on the other hand you haven’t written in a little while, I suggest you complete a first draft and keep rewriting as appropriate. You should aim to create a good quality e-book product. An e-book that goes overboard on good content will sell well. A first product of 40 – 60 pages should suffice.
If writing your first e-book seems daunting you could sell an affiliate product. This is a product created by someone else. You should be able to find an array of products in your niche market on various affiliate sites. I have used Clickbank in the past and they offer a large list of affiliate products. If you do use an affiliate product for your first e-book aim to write your next product yourself. This will ensure your customers get used to the way you write and think.
