Pros And Cons Of Article Marketing

Article marketing is perhaps the best traffic generation and promotional tool online. At the same time, it has its flaws. Let us find out the pros and cons of article marketing. Pros 1. Builds free targeted traffic to your website. When the number of backlinks to your site increases, they will accumulate over time and slowly add on to your search engine rankings. The more the backlinks, the higher the rankings. 2. Increases your credibility instantly when people search your name on the search engines. In fact, this is a fast trick to determine if someone is just a hoax or are they truly an expert in their field. Simply pull out the browser and run their name on the search engine.You will see if they are legit sources of information, or not. If you can't find any information about them, it's most likely the person is not credible. So you might want to take what they say or what they sell with a pinch of salt. 3. Useful leads generation method. Using Article Marketing, you can drive targeted traffic to your site. That would be helpful, isn't it? Why? Because you have just pre-sold to your readers your idea or product through the article you wrote! Cons 1. Requires time and a substantial level of writing skills. Article marketing has two long processes - article promoting and article writing. The trouble is that since many article marketers are not trained in article writing, they will find article writing a little bit challenging and tiring. And let's not forget article promotion - it takes up time too. Just as it takes up time to look for article sites and publishers to submit to, it requires time and effort submitting articles to them. As you may already know by now, article marketing has more pros than cons. So would you be taking up article marketing from now on?
