So, you started out all pumped up and excited about Internet Marketing. You saw the dream, and you put yourself in the middle of it. You bought product after product, joined forums, read, read and read some more. You watched countless hours of "how-to" videos. And then you hit the proverbial 'brick wall.' Sound familiar? Feeling overwhelmed, tired, frustrated? Tried various strategies with little or no success? Don't know where to turn next? Thinking of throwing in the towel?
Don't quit! Success is just around the corner for those who keep the course. It isn't magic, but when it happens, it sure feels that way.
If you are feeling the Newbie Internet Marketer Blues, here are three tips to get back on track.
1. Get clear about why you are trying to be successful at internet marketing. Write down the why behind your efforts. If you cannot be passionate about your goals, you will just flounder. Carry that paper with you, tape it to your computer, put it where ever you will see it often. Feel the dream.
2. Don't try to do things perfectly, just do something! Take action. Every day take action towards your goals. If you don't have goals, don't have a plan -- that is the first action to take! Check off at least one item from your to-do list each day that has moved you closer to your goals. Take action and BE active. Every day. No excuses, just action.
3. Believe that you will be successful. Even if you have never been. Believe that your success is eminent. It will happen. Visualize what it will be like. How you will feel. Know that your success is going to happen with 100% certainty. If you do not believe it, it will not happen. You will find reasons to give up. By making progress each day towards your goals, you will see progress and gain the confidence that you are on the right track, and that confidence will help to fuel your belief.
With just these three simple changes in how you approach your business you will stay on track, see success and build on that success. Internet Marketing is simple, but it is not easy. Keep moving forward!
